Mushroom Anchors

Mushroom anchors are best suited for seabeds of find sand or silt. Shaped like an inverted mushroom, this anchor is designed to be buried to the silt often equipped with a counter shank to help with a better anchoring position. Mushroom anchors are available in a variety of sizes, dependent on what type of vessel you need it for. The first use of the mushroom anchor was devised by Robert Stevenson for use with an 82-ton converted fishing boat called the Pharos.
